Electricians Worry About Halogen Downlights

I have previously discussed about the hazards of halogen downlights. On the news today, electricians are warning the government as well as the public that halogen downlights are truly fire hazards particularly when install near combustible materials such as wood or insulation materials.

The electricians mentioned that there are still thousands of halogen downlights installed in homes. The owners of these homes should take actions to replace these fire hazards with a safer alternative and the government to be more proactive on this matter.
