My driver’s license in the Philippines was expired for more than five (5) years now. As I am now in here, I want to renew my driver’s license as I want to drive locally.
I went to a Land Transportation Satellite Office as I was told that this is the easiest way to renew a license. As this is the first time that my license was expired for this long, I did not realize that LTO will be asking for my foreign driver’s license. I said to myself, ouch! I did not bring my foreign license back here in the Philippines. Now, even If I want to drive, I can’t. I don’t have a valid driver’s license.
Mga kababayan, para di kayo matulad sa akin, pag umuwi kayo ng Pinas, dalhin ninyo ang foreign license ninyo para wala ng problema sa renewal ng license.
Dahil meron ka nang foreign license dapat kumuha ka na lang ng international driving permit doon sa bansang tinitirhan mo, para di mo na kelangan ng Pinas driving license.
