Overseas Filipinos (OFW) resort to Pay TV channels to watch local TV stations in the Philippines. Online TV subscription is also an alternative. Any which way, there is a fee involved.
Is there any other way to watch local Philippine TV for free? While searching the net, I came across Livestation. Most of the channels are foreign but searching “ABS-CBN“, “GMA” or “DZRH” will provide results leading you to to the correct channel.
There is free download software for any OS (Windows, Linux or Mac OS). I tried installing both Linux and Windows versions without any problems.
To use Livestation, a simple registration is needed.
