GFC is here to stay. It may even be worse in the coming months. Jobs are being threatened. Job security may become a history as nobody is immune from it.
Companies would rather make their employees redundant rather than maintaining them as there are no forecast of major projects in the months ahead. Existing projects are now saturated and may not be able to accommodate further personnel. Existing projects are coming to an end that redundancy is eminent.
Seeking jobs overseas assignments may be an option but may not be as rewarding as expected. It may be a better option however, rather than having no job at all with very low chance of being gainfully employed in the next few months.
GFC is threatening job security and nobody is exempt from it.
