Brisbane to Source Skilled Workers Overseas

The latest survey of Robert Walters Global Salary Survey is predicting many local Brisbane companies will be sourcing skilled workers from overseas due to the limited skills available locally. This plan is effected by the booming Mining, LNG and Infrastructure projects. Workers could also expect pay rises this year.

Before the Global Recession, there are so many skilled Filipinos in Queensland on working visa. It was unfortunate that many were also sent home due to the economic slowdown.

With this news that Brisbane will be sourcing skilled workers overseas, Filipinos should take another crack on this opportunity. Filipino Engineers who wants to work in Australia, particularly Queensland, should keep their watch on this opportunity.
