Did you ever have an issue at work or at home not able to open or even copy a file? This has something to do with Microsoft implementation of Long Filename (LFN). If you are in this situation, then your stuck.
In my case, if the the path length including filename more than 259 characters (based on some experimentation), I already experience this problem. I have read a lot from tech forums about this issue. Nobody actually has the absolute solution to the problem. Is there a solution to the problem at all? The answer is yes. Map your directory to a drive letter to shorten the path length. How? Use SUBST.
