The team was informed yesterday that the company has received an advanced memorandum indicating the client’s preference to another bidder. Despite the assurances of the company that the client’s decision is still not final for reasons that bids validity were still be up to the 2Q13. IMHO the morale of the team declined at that very moment.
The team have been working on the concept definition of this project for more than a year now. The team expectation was that the company will be able to win the next stage of the project which may last for another couple of years. The team is hoping for the best but still need to prepare for the worst.
With the world economy still at its abyss, this is not the right time to get a news that the company has lost a big project that it has been expecting to win since its conception.
