This is now the second time that I received an update on my Google Nexus 7. The first update happened just after it was powered up the first time. The second update was today. The updated operating system got the following specs:
Android Version 4.1.2
Kernel Version 3.1.10-g009b6d1
Build number JZ054K
The most significant change is the “Home Rotation”. It now rotates to landscape. Before that, “Home” is always portrait.
I like the landscape Home Rotation except for one thing, the Google Search and the bottom menu became vertical in orientation. It would have been better if the portrait and landscape menu arrangement are the same.
