Yesterday, I was talking to a mentor during a project completion celebration lunch. He was telling that we did a good job on the project and then added, “We can only do so much in such a short time frame!“.
Our submission, is now under approval by the approval board. He commented, I know we did a good job but whatever the board say, that’s all we truly could do. If they will say we did a bad job, we will asked them why and we shall not get offended as if it was a personal comment. No, it was only a job. Your job is not you, don’t get offended with any bad comments. Just say, well tell me how could I do better.
