Save A Tree…

Most emails I receive have the quote or similar underneath the signature of the sender:

Save A Tree, print only when necessary.

Those are for emails. Emails may only comprise about 5% of the total office documents. What about other documents?

I have worked with many companies, teams and projects. Almost always, I find unclaimed printed documents piled up beside the printer. It may have been printed and forgotten or it may have been some other reasons.

To prevent unclaimed printed materials from piling up and going to waste, some companies require their personnel to swipe their access card on the printer before their document will be printed. This will ensure that no printed document will be unclaimed. This is helping the environment.
